Appreciating beauty


How often have you had a chance to look around you and marvel at the beauty of creation?

It isn't for the bee that the flower shows off it splendour but for its creator God. We are made in his image and so can appreciate the same beauty.

Isaiah writes about the people of God saying: "You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God."

If we believe in him and become part of his family then we shall be a crown of beauty in his hand.

This beauty is not only here for a day as the flower might be and then quickly fades. The beauty we are ardoned with is the beauty of the Lord Jesus Christ which will last for ever.
